FOR SALE: 1965 Buick Skylark.

This 1965 Buick Skylark was built in the late 1990s by local San Diego legend Bill Murray and was featured in the February 1999 issue of Car Craft with an article written up by David Freiburger

The rundown:

1970 455CI Buick With a 700R4 transmission.

Rebuilt 12 bolt posi rear with 3.73:1 gears out of a Chevelle.

TA performance headers with a 2 1/2” Dynomax exhaust.

New Edelbrock Performer carb.

In the past year she’s gotten a new alternator, battery, fuel lines, header gaskets, aluminum radiator, carburetor, plugs, wires, and a recent oil change.

Such a fun car and a real sleeper. Has all of the trim, all stock interior besides driver’s seat, and an extra bumper, and grill. It’s a super solid driver, runs great, needs nothing mechanically.

Interior needs recovered, along with the headliner needing replaced. Virtually no rust besides a few small holes in the driver’s rear quarter at the bottom and a little under the windshield frame.

It was painted by Bill in the 90s and still looks decent with a little patina. I don’t want to part with it but I’m building my C10 so she has to go. Clean California title in my name with current registration.
