Description of 1987 Buick Regal Limited

Up for auction we have this 1987 Buick Regal Base Turbo-T with 52,219 documented miles on the odometer.
This car is located in Brick, New Jersey 08724

From the little bit of research I did I believe they only made 4,268 Regal Base turbo cars and out of those who knows how many are actually still left.
This is not a limited, eBay automatically put that in the title and I can’t change it. The main difference with the limited from what I understand is the vinyl roof and they only made 1035 of them.
Lighter, faster and less money than the grand national, the turbo t was the car to buy that year in my opinion. If you look at the last photo there is a copy of the original window sticker with all the options listed.
This car belongs to a family friend who is the third owner. He purchased it back in 1999 and has stored it in his garage ever since. He’s made the necessary repairs and maintenance over the years. Heater cor, radiator and all hoses have been replace ( all oem gm parts were used) the tires were changed 6 months ago and have approximately 100 miles on them.
We have all the records for this car since day 1. The engine was replaced by the dealer in 1988 at 14,837 miles. We have all the letters from the original owner and the letters Buick wrote him back about the problem and repair.
The car has been repainted in the 90s due to fading paint, the paint job although not factory is very nice and was done at a pro shop. There are a few tiny dings here and there barely noticeable and hard to capture in the photos. The only rust on the car is the typical bottom of the door rust on the inside. I tried my best to show it in the photos. The weather stripping is all in great shape, the interior is very clean with minimal imperfections and is smoke / odor free.
I personally rode in the car with him today 5/21/2022. The car runs and drives perfect, the transmission shifts strong, chirps second gear! Car has all its power. The suspension is tight.
As nice of an example as this car is please keep in mind this is a 35 year old vehicle and not perfect. I’ve taken the best photos I could to show it’s condition accurately. The only things wrong with the car mechanically ar, power antenna and air conditioning are both inoperable.
He is selling because he doesn’t drive it much and is getting ready to do a project car. He needs the garage space . This is by no means a desperation sale.
Due to the rarity and popularity of this vehicle it’s being offered for auction with no reserve and will sell to the highest bidder. I do reserve the right to pull it at the end of the day on day 6 if it is ridiculously low. I very much doubt it will be, we have realistic expectations for this car.
There is a $200 good faith deposit due at auction en, the balance is to be paid in cash at his bank, or by wire / cashiers check. Title will be released after payment is clear.
If you have questions about the auction, payment, or anything like that call or text me Phil 732-503-5971 any time
If you have questions about the car itself call Tommy 732-458-4646 10am-6:00pm. After 6:00 or on weekends he can be reached at 732-840-0251 Leave a message if you don’t get him. You can not text him. He is in his 70s and does not text, or sell things online. Which is why I am helping him.
Thank you for looking and good luck bidding!!!!
