Description of 1947 Buick Other Series 50

This is a very nice survivor. It runs and drives. Everything that I can find while bringing it back from 25 years in storage is all stock. It appears that the car may have been restored in the 80's. It has had a repaint and looks like some bondo in the trunk lid edge. When I recieved this car from a friend that I'm helping with this. it was non-running with no brakes. It's completely a solid driver now. It does not burn or leak any oil. The compression checks evenly on all cylinders. It idles and shifts like a dream. The negatives that I can find. Some rust. The rear trunk pan is the worst as well as the trunk lid edge. See pics. Not everything works electrically. A dome light. one horn. he clock. he gas gauge. I'm not an electrical type so if it starts I'm good. I have a list of all work with receipts that I've done to it at request. It has fresh oil. ew brakes. ew battery. ebuilt generator and fresh gas and fluids through out. International buyers are welcome. If you want one to restore this is a car that has all of it's parts. It can be stripped and put back together beautifully. If you'd rather have a driver then it's one of the nicest driving things you can imagine. Cruises down the freeway at 65 easily or slides through town in high gear at 30. Very fun to drive and profile in.
