Description of 1965 Cadillac DeVille

1965 Cadillac Sedan deVille. Color is Paint Code 28 Alpine Turquoise.

Not a real old Cadillac, ut a true Garage Find. We bought a little warehouse in Gerald, O. For storage and one day an individual came in and said that he had a 65 Cadillac that had been sitting in his garage for 20 years from around 1995. I had been wanting a mid 60's Cadillac that had potential, as solid and straight enough to do a cosmetic restoration into a nice car. When we opened his garage the car was full of dust with stuff all around it. I went to the windshield and looked at old Missouri sticker and it was last punched in 1995. We moved everything and with some cables gas we got the Caddy started. The individual I purchased it from bought it and put it straight in his garage from an older fellow that had swerved to miss a deer and he hit a mail box on the passenger side putting some damage on the right front fender and scratching the right front and rear door and quarterpanel.

This car is NOT a parts car. As you can see in the pictures I have not washed it. The dust is still on the car. Below are some particulars:

Engines runs great. No drips or fluid leaks whatsoever.

Entire Engine Compartment very Clean, s the pictures indicate.

It had new tires put on right before the man scratched it up and they look brand new. As you can see the blue film is still on the white walls.

The undercarriage of the car is immaculate. Not frame rust or inner panel rust whatsoever.

All power windows work, ipers work. Everything in the instrument panel works, xcept the radio.

The dash has no rips or raising. The entire instrument panel is in beautiful shape.

All inner door panels are in great shape. And all chrome on door panels is in fine shape. Looking at hinge pillars and door jams it is apparent that they have never been painted

Carpet has not tears and is not frayed, ut could use a good shampooing.

Power steering and brakes works great drove some and the car floats. The suspension seems perfect and tight. The steering and front end seem tight as well.

The right from bumper has buckled slightly as you can see in the pics, hich has pushed the right front fender back. The fender will need adjusting. Other than the place on the right front fender that needs working, he remainder is just the scratch down the right side of the vehicle and a few dings to fix. This car does not need a full paint job, nless you decide to do so.

Headliner perfect. Rear seats in great shape. Front passenger seat in great shape, ut the drivers seat has some frays and wear as seen in pictures.

As far as the exterior goes, he car appears to be totally originally except the left drivers side door may have been painted as some time.

The owner before me removed the right front light assembly and part of the left one that is reflected in the front end picture, ut he gave them to me along with another complete front bumper that he purchased.

The windshield was cracked when a small pole fell on the car in his garage, hich is shown in the picture.

Engine, ransmission and components all original.

The deck-lid top and hood are all very nice, xcept for a small ding in the hood, hich is pictured. All original hubcaps.

The pictures speak for themselves as to the originality, leanliness and damage. Due to the originality and cleanliness that exists within this car it could be made into a beautiful vehicle. The car definitely needs some work, ut if you're a car guy you can see the potential. It is definitely not ready for the bone-yard.

Due to the fact that we are selling our warehouse, e are having to liquidate a couple cars and a few things out of our electrical switchgear business. I have bought and sold old cars all my life. I grew up in the business and have attempted to represent this Cadillac as efficient as possible.
