Description of 1949 Cadillac Other 61

This is a 1949 Cadillac 61 series sedanet fastback coupe. It was originally a California car. It spent the first part of its life in California that is why the body is so clean. Someone in Nebraska bought it and put it in storage for 25 years. My friend bought it in Nebraska hauled it to MN. He got it running and drained the old gas put new brakes on it and replaced all the heater hose. I purchased it from him. The body on the car is rust free. It has no rust and no bondo. It has been repainted once but has never had rust. I was told when it was repainted someone added some series 62 chrome. There is a rust hole in the rear bumper. The rear bumper is also bent a little. The underside of the car is very clean. No rust on the underside. The car would be a good one to street rod or restore. Someone put ugly seat covers on the cars seats. I have not pulled them up to look at the original seats. The steering wheel has some cracks and the shift knob needs replaced it is cracked. Basically this is a nice unrestored car that runs and drives nice. I also have a 1949 Cadillac convertible about the same shape I will be listing in the future.
