Description of 1992 Cadillac Brougham

Simply put, his is the nicest Cadillac Brougham d'Elegance you will find, ere on Ebay, r anywhere else. Let me explain: My wife wanted to have her own Cadillac that matched mine, ut without the blue interior, hich mine has. So I found this car, ere on Ebay, n Chicago. We bought it, hen began the process of fixing/repairing/replacing whatever was either not original, orn out or not working correctly. Hereis the list: all completed around 62,000 miles-front brake pads and rotors replaced; both u-joints replaced; the serpentine drivebelt replaced; all three horns were installed-original GM horns-to take the place of the after-market crap that was installed; the turn signal flasher was replaced as this car has the GM accessory remote keyless entry system, hat was offered by the selling dealer at the time. It works very well. This is really a cool feature because, t the time, ou couldn't even get a remote from the factory! It comes with two complete sets of gold keys and remotes. I found the second set of gold keys and had them cut for this car. On the way back from Chicago, he transmission started to not shift correctly, o after some attempts to repair the existing transmission, replaced it and installed a Jasper remanufactured transmission. This is still under warranty until Nov 11th, 016. The warranty transfers at no charge and I will pay to also have the premium service plan, hat covers rental and the repair facility hourly labor rate, ransferred as well. Back to the list: the rear trans mount was replaced, hen the trans was out; the radiator was also replaced, or optimum transmission fluid flow. The distributor cap and rotor were both replaced, park plugs and spark plug wires appeared to have been done by the previous owner, o they were left alone. All four of the wheels that were on the car, hen we bought it, ere not correct. So I found four new GM steel wheels, good set of original factory hub caps, rand new lug nuts-the correct ones with the "shoulder" that properly hold the hub cap wheel lock in place. Of course, have the key for the hub caps. Both rear wheel cylinders, ear brake shoes and hardware have all been replaced within the last 9,000 miles. In May of 2014, replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. The Cooper tires were installed 2 years ago, t about 64,000 miles. I also have some records from the previous owner: He had the heater core replaced in 2011; the water pump in 2010; muffler in 2005 and he bought a Sears Diehard battery in 2012. Before the car goes to it's new home, need to replace the resonator, n the exhaust system.

On to the condition of the interior. It is as close to perfect as any original, 4 year old car can be!! Also, nderstand this it the d'Elegance interior. That means it is upgraded from the standard Brougham leather interior. Almost like a pillow top. Really!!!! The carpet, ats, ash, oor panels, igarette lighters and sockets all are in like new condition. Externaly, he paint is in great shape, as a few areas, ut not a big deal. The chrome is in fantastic shape as well. All of the lights work and the top is almost flawless. The body is straight.Underneath, o rust issues at all, nly surface. Brake lines, uel lines, uel tank, xhaust system, llin fine condition-especially considering the age of this machine. You can tell it has been garage kept, ost of it's life. It truly is an amazing example of what an American luxury sedan can be! On top of that, n everyday driver, f you wanted it to be. Wait until you see the attention this car gets!!! Way more than a brand new anything of today! You'll see.

In addition, have the original owner's manual.

The only item I feel you may want to address would be the headliner. It is loose, ue to the sunroof. Not really an issue, ust not exactly the way it should be. I will post pictures of that as well as anything else I would want to see, f I was buying this American Classic.

Finally, nderstanding this is a 24 year old car, nd is original in condition, simply do not think you can find another that even comes close to this one. So if you have always wanted the final model year of this body style, HIS IS THE ONE TO GET!

This last part deals with the sales process: THIS CAR IS 24 YEARS OLD. It is not perfect. Damn close though. I am not responsible for shipping this car. You are. I will help anyway that I can. Also, would strongly urge you to come and see and drive this classic prior to purchase. Any questions you have will be answered in as timely a fashion as humanly possible. Of course, his is for sale locally, o it may end at any time.

Thanks for the interest!!!!!!!!!!!
