This 1947 Cadillac Sedanette is an eye catcher. we get continuous " Thumbs Up" from other motorists and people even stop us wondering what year and make it is. This is an easy car to fall in love with. combining the romance of the nostalgic Cadillac with updated performance. Open the hood and you will find a Big Block 472 cubic inch Cadillac engine with a Camero front clip with air conditioning. power disc brakes and power steering. The engine is coupled to a GM 200R4 automatic transmission that allows for cruising at a low RPM via the 3 speed overdrive. A Ford 9 inch differential with drum brakes makes the drive train suitable for the heaver Cad frame and weight. The Cadillac Sedanette is an effortless cruiser at modern highway speeds. When you open the Sedanette's doors you will find a comfortable custom complete interior designed by Greg's Upholstery done in Ultraleather. He stitched up the original seats frames. door panels and headliner in the "Doe" ( Off White ) Ultraleather to make a clean nostalgic custom interior. The air conditioning blows cold and is provided by a period aftermarket under dash unit. There are two under seat original heaters and fans that will keep you toastie when the weather turns cold. This car is quite rare and very old. so there are always things to work on and improve if you are so inclined. I have described the car as best as I can. I have re -listed the Cadillac at a reduced "buy it now price" as well as lowered the reserve so that a new owner will enjoy it this spring. My previous auction in January got very close to my reserve. but didn't quite get there. Previously a couple people offered to trade some very nice cars for the Cadillac. and I was tempted. but I really need to reduce the number of cars at this time.
