1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible.

*Very nice car
*Mainlyunrestored, mostly fanatically kept. Only unoriginal items are service and maintenance. Comes with original wheels/tires.
*Original 375 horsepower 472 engine.
*Original transmission. Rebuilt (hadsmall leak - fully went through at same time).
*Well maintained through the years.
*One family owned45 years.
*Painted many years ago (mid '80's? have to check paperwork). Still shines like new and looks fantastic.
*Always kept indoors and covered.
*Everything kept tip-top.
*A full box of documentation, including appraisals, receipts, and copies of old photo's.
*Very solid overall. What may possibly be referred to as "survivor"-type condition.
*Relatively low mileage for the year @ 106,000. Odometer has turned over only once, just recently. Noteworthy mention: Thismileage isdocumented and provable.
*Super nice, no-excuses car.
*Everything works great.
*Turn the key and enjoy.
If you're looking for a great vintage convertible that doesn't need any tinkering or restoration work, this could be your car.
Unlimited compliments, waves, and thumbs-up.Just a great all around car, in a great colour. It gets the attention of everyone at shows, or just driving. Everyone really likes it. This car has a super presence. We took the carto a downtownholiday festival and show-'n-shinejust last weekend with the family, and must've been photographed several dozen times. Condition:It is a really great car, in really great condition. Themost recent appraisalgave it a market value of$20,500 and described the car as being a wonderful survivor in excellent operating condition. There is slight overall wearand tear, along with some signs of aging; obviouslyto be reasonably expected with a generally unrestored automobile of this vintage. I'd describe this as moderate at best.Personally, I love the unrestored and obviously taken-care-of cars best. They just seem more "real". Please refer to the pictures. They are quite accurate.
Additional information:
Our reserve is substantially less than the market value appraisal would indicate, and quite a bit less than what I have seen comparable on Ebay. In addition, there's the weakCanadian dollar and favourable exchange. As a seller, I'd like to hope the auction goes sky high but, reality tells me this is just a really convenient method to sell a car. I believe this could representa good buyfor a savvy Cadillac buyer looking for a vintage convertible to enjoy.
Iinvite anyone to come seethe carin person. Check my feedback. We've made great friends with people that have come to visit. I promise full hospitality. I've had many nice cars but, have been particularly proud of this one. Please check my feedback. You'll see, I have been bang-on exact with my descriptions, and Mr. Helpful with getting things done. My reputation is honesty and, Ithink you'll be very happy.
