This is a 1953 2 door coupe, it is as original and rust free as it gets.still has original paint except driver fender which was painted in 1971 and I have the paper work on it, I have known this car for over 20 years and my friend bought it from an 80 year old man that was the original owner, he made the man a promise that he would keep it original and he is a very good Christian and a man of his word, although he wanted to make a hot rod out of it with an LS engine he felt he could not go back on his word. He pampered the car for over 20 years and took it to some shows and cruise ins where it always drew a crowd and got more attention than lots of high end cars, he told me he decided it was time for a street rod and since I was going to buy the car 20 years ago but didn't try to step on his toes when he was making the deal on it he would like to see me end up with it, this car is as nice as you would ever find in 100 percent original condition, the chrome and stainless is very nice no rust anywhere,the body is 100 percent rust free. The engine and transmission perform perfectly, we took it out on the freeway and ran it up to 80 mph and it just glides along free as a new car. The only thing has been added is all four rubber brake hoses and a set of new radial white wall tires that are about15 years old and are not dry rotted and still nice. It has four new tires that were bought at Montgomery wards in the 60s. This car has only been wet about 3 times in the last 20 years.
