Description of 1961 Cadillac DeVille |
| This is a Survivor . rare Sedan DeVille 4 Window Hardtop. I have only seen about a dozen of this model left out there. Much rarer than the Convertible. FWD Body No. 3860 Built the 2nd. week of April 1961. Body Code B. Paint Code 24 Dresden Blue with Trim Code 43 Blue Cromwell Cloth and blue Leather. ACC. E. EZ EYE Glass H. Heater Y. Six Way Seat. also GuideMatic Eye. Code U. This Car has 36. 00 original miles and the paint is about 90% original . interior is all original and in near perfect condition with the exception of about a 6 inch separation of the cloth at the front of the drivers side seat. The Chrome is original and bright with normal wear. There is a small rust hole in the left lower bumper pod on the inside about the size of a dime and not visible unless you lay on the ground. The only rust on the body is located at the very bottom of the right front fender. The hood and trunk lid have no rust nor does the doors or rockerpanels. The trunk has the factory trunk lining and carpet all jack and accessories are there. The frame and underbody are solid and have original dealer undercoating present. The car comes with 1961 Cadillac shop manual and glove box packet with owners manual a warranty book ( not from this car ) and options booklet. Also the car comes with all repair and parts receipts. The car has had the entire brake system replaced also the fuel system and it has a newly rebuilt water pump . new belts a New set of 5 American Standard 3 inch white wall radial tires and 4 new correct to original blue and white floor mats from Cadillac USA Parts Supply. Also 4 new correct to original T3 Headlights. Newly cut keys correct to original. This Car drives out tight with tight steering and response. Starts right up and when put in gear the transmission jumps in right away and the automatic emergency brake releases like new. This Car is lively not sluggish .
