Description of 1955 Cadillac Other

1955 Cadillac Convertible (original type car with super body) Originally Atlantic Gray in color now painted Black. Looks as though it was painted many years ago and has a good appearance from 20 feet. Minor scratches and one small dent as shown in pictures but a totally solid car. No rust detected anywhere. Looks to be the original red leather interior with faded red carpet (new carpet kit included). Just bought new set of Kelsey Hayes wheels ($1. 60) and Diamondback Radials ($1. 74) that go with the Caddy. The older pictures taken outside were before I had purchased the wheels and tires. but it is too cold to reshoot outside this time of year. The interior is very presentable with a couple of tears that could be fixed. The leather on the dash and door-panels are in very good condition but the carpet as I said was faded. I bought a Stock Interiors new carpet kit to match the original and it goes with the Caddy as well. The trunk looks to have the original type of interior and I spent the better part of an afternoon cleaning it recently. The top works perfectly and looks very good on the Caddy but the boot will need a little work. It fits but some new stitching will need to be done. I've cleaned the leather and feel that a really good conditioner would help the appearance tremendously. I recently had the brakes wheel cylinder and master cylinders rebuilt along with changing all the fluids. The accessory fog lights and spot lights are the only thing that doesn't seem to work and I haven't had time to figure out why. Please look at the rockers. and all the pictures underneath. There isn't a sign of rust anywhere. just really solid! Please come and inspect if you would like and bid with confidence. The caddy would be a great driver as is or a perfect vehicle to take back to original. Cars like this don't come along everyday! Buyer is responsible for pick-up.
