Description of 1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible

Finished in stunning Byzantine Gold with black top and interior, this 1970 Cadillac deVille convertible is sure to impress wherever it goes. Extensively refurbished in 2013, work done on the car included:

New basecoat/clearcoat paint

New convertible top with glass rear window and boot, lines, and hydraulic pump

New leather upholstery and carpet

All chrome replated

New Truspoke 50 spoke wire wheels with optional spinner attachment and Diamondback radial tires

Extensive mechanical reconditioning including brakes, shocks, springs, timing chain replacement, carburetor, distributor, alternator, motor mounts, exhaust, and the list continues. All parts were AC Delco where available.

Since my acquisition in 2014, I have done the following:

Replace all refrigeration components of the a/c system - compressor, condenser, evaporator, filter/dryer, hoses, and heater core while I was at it.

Installed the correct, working Cadillac 8-track player

Repaired the clock

Speedometer calibration

New cruise control transducer

New correct 10 ohm speakers

This car effortlessly goes down the highway. Everything is working on the car except the map light in the dash. A/C is cold and the heat is hot. Radio and 8 trackplays fine. Power seat works in all directions. All power windows work from all switches. Dash lights are all operational. Exterior lights workas they should. Cruise control maintains speed easily. Essentially this is a turn key car. Fill up the tank and go. The pictures should speak for themselves with regard to the car's condition.

Inspections are welcomed and encouraged. I also have a contact with a customs brokerage to help with the paperwork for exporting the car from Canada.
