Description of 1958 Cadillac Other

This is a beautiful 1958 Cadillac. First the red headlights were a Halloween gag and do not go with the car. and no it was not a fire-chiefs car. It is some surface rust around the trim pieces and in the trunk gasket galley. It does not run but the motor turns very easily by hand so I assume it will with minimal effort. The brake booster was missing when i got it but i have a used one that will need rebuilding. I have not seen any rust on the floor pans or in the trunk pan. I am sure the gas tank will need a good cleaning or replacing. The driver side front window and the passenger side rear vent window is also cracked. The front windshield and rear window glass are near perfect with minimal hazing. I have the wheels off in the pictures but they will be on the car by the time it sells. The car comes with a few extra trim pieces and hubcaps. because i know how some people like to lose them or they get stolen. I am selling this because the work that it needs is more then what i have time for. I already have 2 other projects going on and i would rather pass this one on before it gets too bad. My reserve price is low enough that would probably pay for the interior alone and as you can see in the pictures it's very clean. The car was repainted the original red at some point in its life but it was not done well. This car does not run and will need to be towed or trailered. It does roll. Obviously it will not stop. I do not have a title for it. but i can get one for it if the new owner wants it or i can provide you with a bill of sale and contact information for the last know title holder. she as agreed to sign the transfer paperwork. If you want to know the whole story behind the title. ask me because its long and complicated and involved 2 months worth of calls and tax office visits. Sale is as is where is.
