Description of 1955 Cadillac Other

This vehicle was purchased as part of an estate sale and has been locked indoors since 1999. While it appears to have been repainted at some time there is confusion if this car was restored or is really a 819 original mile car. Either way this car is SPECTACULAR and would make a fantastic cruiser. The a/c blows ice cold. you will not find another 1955 Cadillac Sedan in this condition! I have included the following pages and photos from the appraisers report for your consideration: ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: NOTES: As noted on the prior option page. and as depicted on the many enclosed digital photographs. this 1955 Cadillac Sedan is a well-preserved older restoration that has since acquired very few miles. The paint is black Lacquer applied over a very straight body with one minor blemish under the right taillight. The seats were probably reupholstered. which was done to a very high standard with material and patterns matching the original factory interior. It's possible that the entire interior is original; however. there is no wear beyond that. which one might expect on a car with the mileage shown on the speedometer. which was possibly zeroed out at the time of restoration. It's impossible without documentation to determine the actual mileage of this vehicle; that notwithstanding. all aspects of this car when taken in total. suggests that it is a low mileage car. The body and chassis appear to be free of rust. bondo or other non-ferrous material and the always difficult to find stainless is in perfect condition The condition of this car is best described as a number two (2). An original automobile such as this one. even in these tough economic times is likely to appreciate at 5% per annum. MECHANICAL Unless otherwise arranged. the Appraiser does not. and will not test-drive this vehicle. As such. no deductions are included for operability. Rather. credit has been given for the vehicle reported performing with no operational defects when last operated. except as noted in this report.
