Description of 1978 Cadillac DeVille

1978 Cadillac “Le cabriolet” marketed through new Cadillac dealers these cars were very expensive and less than aprox 100 cars produced for the years run 1977-1979. I know buying over the web can be difficult and some sellers hide or look over the bad parts of the car only focusing on the good I have many high res photos that show the complete car and I am happy to photo any part that you request.

The car for sale here is an excellent example with 83000 original miles properly cared for over the years the current owner searched for an excellent reliable example due to being handicapped he needed reliability he found this car in South Florida and had the car checked and then decided to purchase the car and have it shipped to Southern California. When the car arrived he sent the car and had a major service performed The AC system serviced and any other items that were not to the expectations of his mechanic. The car runs excellent. Due to his illness the car is being sold as well as his 1985 ASC convertible in a few weeks.

Finished in a metallic sandalwood exterior the color is very rich and contrast very nice with the oyster leather interior the tan top is power and works well in both the open and close positon there are some wear marks one each of the creases of the top where it folds these crease marks were patched by an interior shopThere is no body damage to the car the paint is very deep and shiny but there are a few small chips that will be shown in the photos of the ad the car is complete with all of its trim and bright work the grill is in wonderful shape originally the car came with a different hood emblem that had the LE CABRIOLET logo but was stolen at a car show it has been replaced with a Cadillac emblem from the same year.

The oyster leather interior is in good condition there are some stress marks to the leather in certain areas the power seats operate the windows all work well an upgraded Alpine head unit and speakers we replaced the sun faded carpets including the carpet on the door panels and the simulated wood is very presentable. The AC is functioning and blows cold. A very nice looking and driving vehicle. 818/481/2200
