Description of 1985 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Scottsdale

I am selling my personal daily driver shop truck. I drive this truck 10 miles in the city and another 10 miles on the highway on a daily basis. She is very dependable. The engine is a true GM 355. The engine was rebuilt a year ago. The transmission was purchased new from a local Race Shop and I have all paperwork w/warranty. The driveshaft is balanced with new universal joints. The tires are highway tread with the A rating for everything. The interior is very nice. We just put a new dash in and we installed new carpet. The bed topper is new. We just installed it. The engine has multiple upgrades which include oil pump pistons rods lifters push rods and camshaft... headwork/valves/springs/milling headers intake manifold carb linkage valve covers

I spent $1700 on the transmission. The tranny is the 700 R4 and has a upgraded sun gear. The torque is a 3500 stall speed converter from a reputable national company. The paperwork is in the glovebox.

This truck is ready to go across the country with no issues or worries. The cooling system runs at 190 degrees because of the new internal upgrades to the engine. The radiator is also newer and has an all aluminum 4-core system. The flex-fan has helped allot to push the air and has really been great for the horsepower. I have about 5000 miles on the truck since we finished the drivetrain. Engine transmission driveshaft and rearend are all 5000 miles united.

The rearend features the Factory 12 BOLT Rearend/Differential... The gears are 3:73 Ratio Gears from someones New Old Stock that I bought and installed when we did the engine and transmission.

The intake manifold is the Edelbrock Highrise and what sits on top of it is the Holley 650 Dual Feed Carburetor. The fuel pump had to be changed out for the electric Holley version because the engine required a more steadily flow. I installed the Accel Distributor and Coil so I can burn the fuel quicker and more efficient. I recently put all new plugs wires and vacuum hoses on.

Now for the braking system::: Seeing that this truck is so fast; we had to find a great way to stop her. I installed the system less then 1000 miles ago. I have receipts for all of the parts. Master cylinder proportion valve lines hoses wheel cylinders pads rotors shoes and spring kits

All shocks are new and of course they are upgraded well known brand

Engine Block is from a 2005 Denali and is a 355. This used to be a fuel injected motor. The Denali only had fewer then 50000 miles. I bought it from a friend who had it on his stand for 5 years until he finally traded me for my Harley. I then went ahead and did the work mentioned
