Description of 1982 Chevrolet Corvette

Beautiful. rare C3 Corvette that has been meticulously cared for. and equipped with virtually all (OEM) original equipment. I am selling this for a close friend due to a recent death in the family. I was asked to assist. as the widow is aware of my strong passion for all Corvettes. I was more than happy given this Corvettes incredible condition; I own a 1979 C3. and a 2006 C6 convertible. I knew immediately this car is as close to “non-molested” as they come. This is a wonderful example of the last year C3 body style Corvette that has been preserved with original equipment. paint. and interior. The only (2) items that I saw that were not original. was the steering wheel (have original wheel that could be wrapped as OEM as there is a company that specifically does that service) and the shifter knob. which is easily obtainable if desired. T-tops are original. and are in near flawless condition. All glass and door/window/t-top seals are in excellent condition. The marks (power line wires) seen in the pictures on the T-tops are not scratches. or imperfections. but are simple reflections as they mirror shine like new. Seats are the original (rare) cloth red. as is the full original carpet for the entire car. The gloss black exterior and red interior are a great looking classic Corvette color combination. The factory OEM alloy wheels are about as close to "new" as possible. The tires are in excellent condition. with very minimal tread wear. All (4) tires show as new condition. This is the original numbers matching motor. factory A/C. 4 speed automatic. power windows. door locks. seats. mirrors. tilt telescopic. etc. All mechanical items function perfectly. A/C is ice cold. there are no known mechanical issues what so-ever. The headlights go up/down instantly and exactly simultaneously as they should. Factory black paint is in excellent condition. paint is original. and stunning. as is the interior. No accident/body work history! This car shines and shows very impressively!! This has been a garage AND car covered stored Corvette. The motor fires up instantly. with no hesitation. The acceleration is quick. and consistent with a real nice muscle car exhaust note. Driving this car is very tight. due to its extremely low miles. and meticulous lifetime maintenance. Steering. suspension. and over-all handing are comparable to day one operation. No visible smoke when running. and no oil or fluid leaks after prolonged parking/storage. History – again. this is not my car. it is technically a 3 owner car. however. the original owner had it for 30 years. It was sold to a second owner. and then purchased shortly there after by my friend’s late husband. This was mainly a “Sunday driver” while attending local car shows. and local car meets. It has won several trophies (as seen in pics which are a digital reproductions of original photos) this Vette is a head-turner! I will be happy to answer any and all questions.
