this is my truck given to me by my father who bought it brand new in golden Colorado. we moved from Colorado in 1987 and during the trip the truck spun a bearing and it has not seen the road since that time. it has been in storage or covered since 1987! my father gave it to me apox 5 years ago and has been in my garage until this last summer. it was covered all winter,and I cannot stand seeing it under a tarp anymore. I want to restore it so badlyit hurts me to see it die like it is.. I have 3 kids and my own projects going on and I cannot foresee any timeor money in the futureto do a proper restore. thiswas my dads first new truck and it means a lot to me and him, e has kept it all this time and neither one of us want to get rid of it butwe don't want to see it rot away any longer..the truck is 39 years old and completely original. I took the motor out about 10 years ago and has been in my garage every since on an engine stand and the heads and rotating assembly are all together. I do have a complete gasket set for this motor but no machining has been done. the trans and transfer case have never been out of the truck, have 2 sets of 16.5" rims and tires for this truck all 8 tires shouldn't be used for road use. the rust on the truck is reparable the driver side of the cab all the rest is minimal and better then most allout there. I do believe it is a 4 speed with a granny gear. it has full float 14 bolt in the rear and a semi float 14 boltin the front. like I said the truck is 100% original and unmodified the windshield has been removed when I began to disassemble the truck the front clip was removed and set back in place when I moved it out of the garage I still have all the original parts for the truck minus the windshield I may still have the gasket but not sure. I am holding the original title. clean and clear. thank you for looking and if you are the lucky winner I hope you take her and make her great again. but if you aren't going to restore her don't tell me, ie to me and say you are going to make her great again. thanks for listening and good luck!!
