The simulated hood "vents" were also gone for '64 leaving a cleaner look. but the recessed hood itself was unchanged. Interior-wise. the seats were revised with a thicker back for more support. The dash was also changed with the instruments now sorting black gauge faces. You know the saying "They're only original once". Well. this '64 time capsule certainly fits that description! This two owner. Black Plate Corvette originally came out of Buellton (Santa Barbara) CA and has been beautifully cared for ever since! Other than maintenance. a new exhaust system. new soft top and some minor paint touch up. this '64 is an original and extremely nice Corvette Convertible! It starts up instantly and idles as smooth as satin. The engine responds just as it should. pulling effortlessly to Redline and it shifts. stops and handles beautifully.
