Description of 1942 Chevrolet Other

G7117 (G506 with winch).Clear Illinois title (IL says its a 1941, was in no place to argue with the DMV) Runs good, tops great. Easy to drive once you master the double clutching, ll rust issues were addressed except a couple of small spots on the bed (I just over looked them) and the normal small stress cracks by the hood latches . Complete truck, as gauge says "gas" has the original light switch, ith new tires(6) (7.50 x20 NDT), ew aluminum radiator, ew hydrovac, ew generator (6V), ew battery (6V), rake lines, ew front wheel cylinders, ear ones were rebuilt, ew seat cover, ewired with period correct cloth covered wire, dded turn signals for safer road use (Max speed is 45mph). Every thing works but some issues with the gas gauge (I installed a new 6v sending unit and it may be hung up on the fuel pick up tube), he black out drive lights are not hooked up. Only the driver's side wiper works (6V) and there is a crack in the passenger side windshield. The rear pinion seal leaks as do the transmission, nd winch PTO, just check them before I drive it and the master cylinder has a small leak (I check the brake fluid as well but its just all of the preventative maintenance had should be done prior to use.) Is it perfect? No it's 74 years old. Its just a super sized pickup and can be hauled on a 10K car trailer with no problems. I've tried to be a thorough as possible. I believe my reserve is reasonable and I'm not trying to recover the $$ I have spent on it, know I won't.Please only contact me if you are seriously interested. Thanks
