Description of 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Up for sale is a stunning 1968 Chevy Camaro Z28. From everything I have seen, do believe this car to be a true Z28...it however does NOT have the original 302DZ engine and is not the original British Racing Green color. That being said it IS a very clean and solid car that drives great and grabs theattention when you roll into a car show. Custom Gray exterior with White Z28 stripes are painted on and with the exception of a few stone chips the paint on the car is great. This car just received a new 496 Big Block Chevy (Full specs below) that runs pump gas and puts out a street thumping 575hp. While the engine was out the entire engine bay was disassembled and the correct matte/satin/semi gloss/gloss black shades were applied to the firewall, nner fenders, nside the outer fenders, adiator support, ottom of hood, rame etc so it's show ready. New trans crossmember to properly fit the BBC. New Dual Friction Clutch and steel flywheel. New Ceramic Coated 2" primary tube Hooker Headers that flow intoafull stainless 3"dual exhaust system. 3" stainless X pipe withdual 3"key fob operated electricexhaust cutouts to let you tailor how loud you'd like the car. New 3 core aluminum radiator and high flow electric fan ensures this beast runs cool even on the hottest days. This car features a Black Mountain billet bracketed Gilmer Belt drive for the new Chrome Alternator/Chrome Water Pump/Crank Pulley. New Power Steering lines. New front spoiler. New front shocks. Great lumpy cam and deep big block sound lets everyone know what you have. The car is SHARP! No expense spared. Less than 100 miles on this since completion and I've enjoyed 2 car shows (and the crowds it attracts)

The interior of the car features a Black Deluxe interior with front bucket seats, enter console with the 4 factory gauges (Gas level, emp, il Pressure, nd Voltmeter). The Muncie 4 speed shifts clean and has a Hurst competition shifter. All factory seatbelts are intact. Headliner is in excellent condition. No dash cracks or issues. There is a factory replacement radio with AM/FM and cassette in the deluxe woodgrain interior center stack. This car has a chrome tilt column and a new Wood Steering wheel. There is a new Autometer 5" tachometer to keep sharp watch on the RPMs. Speedometer is accurate.

The battery has been relocated to the trunk in it's own battery enclosure. The rest of the trunk is rock solid clean with the spatter paint still intact and the vinyl trunk mat to protect the floor. This car has the GM 12 bolt rear end with upgraded aluminum cover. There are non-descript traction bars installed. The car has staggered size rims for a small rake in the stance. 14" rims up front and matched 15" rims in the rear. BF Goodrich white letter tires all around have great tread depth and no issues.

I have 3 of these 1968 Camaros in different trim levels so I know them well. I do not cut corners or mess with junk cars that need bodywork. I am building a house and as such I need to sell a car from my collection. Feel free to ask any questions and I encourage inspections PRIOR to bidding. Bid with confidence as I have been on Ebay since 1999 and have maintained 100% feedback. I can assist with transport options anywhere in the 48 states once funds have cleared. Winning bidder needs to contact me within 24hrs of auction end to arrange payment. Payment accepted is Cash (with immediate release of car), r bank draft/bank check(releasing car as soon as funds clear). I hold clear Indiana title in my name that will be signed and given along with bill of sale once funds are settled.
