Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1968

Up for auction is my 1968 Chevy Camaro 2 Door Coupe. I have owned this car for 13 years and it has been garage kept and covered every day I have owned it. It was also garage kept every day from previous owner to the best of my knowledge. This Camaro has a 350 V8 engine, urbo 350 transmission, olley 650 double pumper carb, nd 3.73 gears.
History/Reason I am selling:
I purchased this car in the spring of 2002 from a local owner. Right after purchasing the car I also purchased new interior for it (seat covers (front/back), eadliner, ear deck lid, arpeting, eatherstripping, etc.) which I intended to get installed that winter, nd which do come with the car to whomever purchases it.
However, efore winter came I had an accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down so I couldn't finish the interior as originally intended. I had always planned on keeping the car so I wanted to make it handicap accessible. That is the reason the car is an automatic right now. Although, he clutch pedal is still in place should the buyer decide to take it back to a manual transmission. Sorry that in the pics the car looks a little dirty, ut it is hard for me to clean it good being in a chair (and I didn't want to burden anyone else).
The reason I have decided to sell the car after all these years is that I'm at a different point in my life right now and I am purchasing a home, nd selling this will help to cover some of the down payment/closing costs.
The Good/Bad:
The Good: (These are just a few of the "Goods"; I figure the rest of the good will speak for themselves in the pics)
  • Solid Body
  • Good paint (only minor scratches, nd one or two little dings I have seen)
  • Strong running engine
  • New interior comes with the car (as mentioned above), ust needs installed
  • New ignition

The Bad:
  • Minor scratches and the ding or two I mentioned above (one is right above the passenger side wheel well)
    • other scratch/blemish is on front of car on racing stripe and the Camaro emblem on the front driver side fell off (think it got snagged on the cover when taking it off); Emblem is there just needs re-adhered
  • The drum brakes need a little work it seems (friend said they seem to go to the floor a little making it hard to stop)
  • Battery is/was dead (charging it now; if it doesn't take I will replace it with a new one before pickup)
  • Interior is a little rough in current condition (but new stuff comes with car)
  • Missing center console (never had it when I purchased it (probably because it was a manual trans at the time), nd I liked it better without so kept it that way)
  • Rear passenger side split-window is down (believe it is just off the track because it did work when car was purchased)
Overall:
This is a very nice solid Camaro; just needs a little TLC that due to my injury I could no longer give it. I will be happy to answer any questions anyone may have to the best of my ability (Just use the "Ask Seller a Question" and if needed we could get a phone call to discuss).
