Up for Auction here is a 1953 Chevrolet 150 business sedan. This Chevy came out of the factory with the basics. No raido, it has the delete plate) and no clock, it has a delete plate there as well) and it had no armrests on the front doors(weird fact but they have been added). It does have a small under the dash heater that came stock on the car and it works great.I will try to add pictures of it. i do appoligize this listing has been a work in progress. The car isstill6 volt, ut it starts right up and runs like a top (battery is new). All the gages work fineand so does the heater. The car is real straight and has hada good amount of work done to it. Please look at the pictures for a full decription.The car has been Nosed & decked, t has shaved doors, he hood has been welded and peeked, ll new front floor pans, ynamat installed. the motor is a straight six 235 ci (stovebolt). it has dual black powder coated Rochester carbs on a dual Offey intake, enton split cast iron headers, ew dual exhaust ran to a pair of vintage cherry bombs ran to vintage chrome tips. The twovintage air cleaners have been worked on andmade to come apart (they were a solid unit back in the day and alot of them have been disguarded)now a paper air cleaner can be used or the oiled copper mesh that iscurrently in them.Car runs great and sounds really good. All the metal work was done with lead the traditional old school way... No Bondo! The car can be enjoyed as is or completed by the new owner. The Seats are wrapped in a vintage 50's seat cover set and look great with no tears or rips. mexican blankets are just draped over it. The Car still needs carpet and the door panels could use a redo. The car has no headliner it has been removed and looks good as is. This 53 Chevroletalsosports a rare set of Cadillac headlight bezels, vintage 50's grill insert, intage cal custom bullets & 57 Cadillac hubcaps.The skirts are rare vintage accessory skirts sold back in the day.
