Description of 1964 Chevrolet Nova

I purchased this car from it's third owner. The car was purchased by a woman in 1964 in marion . indiana and stayed with her until 1997. this is a great original nova with only 42605 milesthe car had only approx 41000 miles in 1997. the car was ordered with radio delete option from Chevrolet Div. of GM. It originally had 13" tires and wheels. The last owner added 14" rally wheels and new tires. I tuned it up after noticing the spark plug wires were dated 1964. I rebuilt the carb. added a new air cleaner. changed all rubber gas hoses. added an inline fuel filter. replaced the fuel pump. sparkplug wires. sparkplugs. otor. cap. and new inlet hose for the gas tank. I replaced the rear exhaust pipe and replaced the battery with a new one. I know the car was professionally painted approx 8 yrs ago by the last owner and stripped to bare metal andat that time 2 new fenders and a trunk lid were added. All chrome an stainless trim is good and stock. The seats have been recovered in original coverings. new door cards and the interior is stock. This car has a good 230 inline 6 cylinder and still has the 3 speed manual gearbox on the column. The car has new tires. front wheel cylinders. rakes and springs. I know it has been garage kept by previous owner as I do all my cars. i found a small pinhole in the gas tank and replaced it along with a new sending unit also.
