Description of 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

Just add paint. and Drive!! Care is currently a CA registered running 1968 Camaro. Car is very solid throughout. 99 % rust free! Car was recently stripped to the bare metal and was found to be in overall good condition! However. body has had one fender. trunk floor. and qtr skins replaced. but the welding seams are very good! Still in need of some minor body work (mostly fenders near headlights) and a new paint job. My paint guy suggested not to replace the fenders. but that will be your decision. Unfortunately. due to some unexpected business related financial issues. I have no choice but to sell now! I also have too many other vehicles/toys. and no storage due to pending relocation plans. Hate to sell. but the Camaro was the most expendable in my collection. and will be easiest to replace. so I chose to let this one go. This is a factory AC car (ac components all there. but not working). Has some minor electrical issues. i. e. . gas gauge and turn signals not working. All lights. head/tail. dash/dome. brake and back-up lights appear functional. The motor is a SBC 350 and running great! Steers straight down the road. could benefit from some suspension rebuilding/upgrades etc. as most cars this age. Brakes are ok/functional. but could use some adjusting. Runs cool. no overheating issues. 400 turbo. 10 bolt. rear gears unknown (good on highway). power steering. drum brakes on all 4. body panel alignment is good! Undercarriage. seemed to be unmolested and somewhat stock. nice original interior. but dash has a crack. Rubber appears to have recently been replaced. car is set up as an SS clone (body badges. rear spoiler included). polished 17" Coys wheels. (caps a bit pitted). tire good condition w/ lots of tread. Original color is "Island Teal". This is not a numbers matching car. but it would make someone a great driver. and with some additional work and paint. a nice weekend show car attendee!
