Up for auction is a custom built 1953 Chevy pickup.Hotrod, atrod, treet truck, how truck. Cab is a 1953 chevy from a fire truck in excellent condition with flat hotrod black paint.Truck bed is a shortened 1942 chevy with custom tailgate. Front grill is also 1942 chevy custom. Frame is custom built 2x4 box tube with airbag suspension, ront end is fatmans mustang II with tubular A arms, ack and pinion,and rear is 2001 ford explorer, wheel power disc brakes. Engine is a built Oldsmobile 455 cu.in. V8 with tunnel ram intake and dual 450 cfm Holleys. Transmission is a turbo 350 automatic. Vintage air installed in cab but needs compressor installed on engine and finished. Interior is basically stock with custom gauges and sound system. This truck has won many awards and been at Crizin the Coast 4 years in a row. I hate to sell this truck it was a labor of love but like all good artist, ometimes you have to part with a project to be inspired to build another. Good bidding.
