Up for bid is a 1971 nova SS Clone. It is essentially a 1971 body with all new parts. The body is all original as far as I know. It has the original rockers and floor pans. The floors are solid. It has a new windshield, ear window taken out and resealed. It has an 8pt cage, ubframe connectors, attery in the trunk with a shutoff switch and a voltmeter. A 15 gal RCI fuel cell with sending unit for the gas gauge. Gas gauge, uel press, ater temp, nd oil pressare mounted outside on the cowl.Holley electric fuel pump and Fram fuel filter. Braided fuel line and fuel shutoff valve. A thin stainless steel sheet blocks off the trunk compartment. It has a GlasTek lift off hood with cowl scoop. New bumpers and all stainless moldings taillights SS emblems rear ss panel etc. Car has all lights, urn signals, nd horn. No heater or w shield wipers. It has a new headliner and sail panels that are not installed. It has an Autometer tach with shift light on dash. Included in extra parts are an extra shifter cable(new) for the B&M Quicksilver Shifter. Also a set of new plugs, ome oil and a new fuel filter. The motor is a 1971--355 cu inch motorwith SRP forged flattop pistons. It is a stroked 350 with6'' Scat rods, ast crank, nbsp;Arp studsin the bottom end andthe heads are studded also. The engine is balanced. Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and hardened pushrods. A Comp Cams Cam CSXE284H-10.Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, igh Velocity Heads spacer, nd a 750 Demon Carb. Hooker Super Competition,Header, eramic Coated that goes into a 3'' exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers.Edelbrock polished high flow water pump with Zoops pulleys. Fluiddamper balancer, allory unilight distributor, arry Grant fuel regulator and braided stainless lines to the Holley fuel press gauge and then the carb. A big 4 core aluminum radiator and shroud, &M tranny cooler And RCI overflow can. Cvi high torque starter. Trans mission is a 350 torbo with Tci Internals, ci midplate, uper Streetfighter converter, ci hardened intermediate sprag, tc. A J&W manual reverse valve body with trans brake, inned aluminum large capacity pan. Tci trans shield. New heavy duty driveshaft and u joints, riveshaft loop, urst line lock with button on shifter. The msd box, oil and 3 step module are all mounted in the glove compartment. Rear end --- 10 bolt posi New 3.73 gears, ew clutches in posi unit, trange c clip eliminators, ew rear springs with polyeurethane bushings, al Trac bars, xles have long Moroso studs. The wheels are Weld Wheels with Kumho Solus tires on front and MT et Street Radials on back. Differential has a heavy duty cast aluminum rear cover. The ram air cleaner in the eng comp has a 8" K&N filter under it to prevent debris from getting into the engine. It also has sheet metal valve covers, SD wires and a double roller timing chain. Front end new ball joints, ie rod ends, oroso trick front springs. Competition Engineering adjustable shocks, ront hubs also have long studs. I am probably forgetting something. It also has a high volume oil pump and an 8qt pan. The alternator is an East Coast Auto Electric high amp unit. There have been a lot of questions about the 1/4 mph times on the car. The fastest time was 10.42 at 127 mph. That was with a 150 shot of nitrous which was only run for 3 passes. On the motor what I ran it all the rest of the time it ran a best of 11.03. The usual times varied from 11. 10 to 11.20 depending on the heat of the day. The car has been detuned and now probably run in the mid 12's. Thanks Gary.
