HELLO HERE I HAVE UP FOR SALE A 1950 GMC WITH A CHEVY GRILLE DELUXE CAB TOTALLY MODIFIED WITH A 1979 CAMARO
This truck was found in Corona, ew Mexico and was brought in for total frame-off modification. Below I have pictures of the chassis, hich was sub-framed, -notched and 4 linked. The frame was wire wheeled and painted with a rust inhibitor paint.

This small block is a 1970s Camaro engine, ad about 80,000 miles and was broken down for total gasket replacement. Had many new parts added, nbsp;the following parts list are all new:
HEI distributor, lugs, ires, asket kit,alternator, uel pump, ebuilt 1965 corvetteHolleycarburetor, igh volume oil pump, ftermarket performanceEdelbrockintake, eaders, ir filter, nd water pump
Exhaustis a used system withflow mastersand has a very good sound toit.
Transmission:
The transmission also has about 80,000 miles on it, hifts smoothly and is also very clean on the inside, t also received fresh oil and new filter.
Suspension:
The subframe consists of many used original parts and are in good working condition. Front brakes were replaced and the rotors were in excellent shape when assembled most parts were cleaned and painted. It has 2,500lb.air bags in front. The rear was C-notched 4 linked with a 1981Buickcenturyposi, 0 boltrear end and the lug pattern all around is the chevy 4 3/4 - 5 lug bolt pattern. The rear bags are 3,500lb.bags. The driveshaft is a two piece setup with a carrier bearing.
Air system:
The air ride consists of 1Viaircompressor with a 5 gallon air tank, valves and a maximum pressure of 200 psi. The truck has a simple front and back setup with the switches in dash and a hidden kill switch for when the truck is not in use.
Dash instruments:
Original gauges are not working and have no lighting. I have added a set of aftermarket gauges for oil pressure and temperature.Assemblyalso includes an aftermarket fuel gauge.Steeringcolumn is a tilt (out of the Camaro donor) along with the brake and gas pedal assemblies.Truckhas no visible shifter and is hidden for security purposes.Ignitionkey is fully functional and locks when the key is out. Windshield wipers not working.Alsotruck has no heater.
Lighting:
Aftermarket gauges have lights, urn signals work. Running lights, rake lights hi/low beams are all fully functional
Cooling system:
The truck is equipped with an aftermarket high performance aluminum radiator and an automatic electronic fan with temperature adjuster, oeliminate the mechanical fan. The running temp is usually 195 to 200 degrees on average and will reach a high of 210 on a hot day and in stop and go traffic.
Interior:
Interior is dressed with a Mexican blanket and new reproduction grey upholstery panels for headliner and kick panels. Seat is not original from truck and sits lower than the stock seat. In my opinion is more comfortable than the original. I can how ever make adjustments for the new owner because it is bolted in one place and is not adjustable.Doormechanisms are original and in decent working shape.The driver door lever has a broken spring so it will stay in open position or lock position.Windowsroll up and down but are missing the felt.Truckhas no rubber gaskets or weather stripping so it does rattle and make noise. Glass is original and has scratches and pitting, ear center glass is cracked and one small crack on front half on passenger windshield.
Body and Rust:
This truck like all trucks of this year has rust in cab corners and had "cancer" in floor when we found it. Patchpanels were added to the floor with flat sheet metal and is very solid now.Thetruck has dents and surface rust all around and since the front grille and hood were changed from GMC to chevy the truck was repainted to match. The rust is original all I did was go around the rust and blend in colors.
Wheels:
Truck is riding on a set of 215- 75- R15 Coker classic tires with GM 15 inch steel rims. Tires are not new but still have lots of tread on them, nd are not dry rotted.
How Does it Ride???
Truck is currently registered and insured and is a daily driver. I drive it around as much possible in order to work out any problems or issues that may arise.Otherwisethe truck runs super nice on the freeway and can handle 70 MPH no problem. Stopping power is excellent and the truck is very well capable of smokey burnouts. PLEASE DO REMEMBER IT IS STILL AN OLD VEHICLE!Oilmust be checked regularly. Gauges also must be checked on a regular basis while driving. I've had times when a simple leak can cause serious damage.Thedonor was also a used vehicle and regular checkups should be made. So that being said I do try to enjoy it and make sure it is sturdy and can go anywhere when desired. This Truck is fast and fun!!
