Description of 1988 Chevrolet Other

For Sale is my 1988 Chevrolet C70 with an 8' x 11' Flatbed. NO RESERVE!!

It has the 8.2 liter turbo diesel engine (V8) with an Eaton 6-speed manual transmission.
The truck has a 19,280# GVWR; the front axle is 7,000# and the rear axle is 12,280#.
The transmission was recently rebuilt as some of the synchronizers were going out and was difficult to shift.
The bed was bought brand new and only has a few scratches on it, haven't used it a whole lot. The bed has a place for a gooseneck ball to be mounted but I've never put one on it.
The truck does have a receiver hitch on the back, t takes a 2" hitch. Lighting works and it has a brake controller.
I just put two brand new batteries in the truck.
It has two new front tires. The rear tires have good tread but they are old. If you are planning on driving it a lot they would need to be replaced.
I had the cab and front end repainted when I bought the truck, nything that is white was repainted.
It has two bucket seats that are air ride, ery comfy!
The truck has factory A/C installed but it needs to be recharged. I don't drive it much so I've never had it charged up.

The truck runs great! It was a project truck for me. I've kept it a few years but I don't use it enough to justify keeping it.
It will run 65mph with ease and steers very easily!
