He was a retired Airline Pilot who had worked for National Airlines and later started his own Electronics company. During his retirement years, e owned a Mooney 21 airplane which he loved and continued to fly into his eighties and a Precious White Corvette with red leather interior that he continued to drive until his late nineties. His name was Harry Bay and he passed away on April 16, 015 at the incredible age of 100 !!!I have included (as one of the pictures in the link below) his Obituary which appeared in the Florida Times-Union of Jacksonville on April 18, f this year. As you read it you will note that in addition to his wonderful wife and family, t mentions both of his retirement passions, is Mooney 21 and The White Corvette that I am offering for sale today. When I picked up the car, had no idea just how much use it had in the last few years ... but ... as I drove home on I-4 at 75 miles an hour with the cruise on and the air nice and cold, realized just howmeticulousthis former Airline Pilot had taken care of hisprizedpossession. Afterreviewing the hundreds of documents Ireceivedwith the car, can assure you that anything this car needed ... it got. The only noticeable interior wear ... is ... on both the seats there is normal wear from getting in and out and the carpet on the driver's side sill is showing some wear.
