Description of 1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 CST

1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 CST 4x4
The previous owner did a frame on restoration in 2014. The body is very straight, o rust, ice fresh (original color) paint. For this Blazer to be a 10/10 show truck, frame off should be done, anding the frame and repainting. However as is, he frame is solid, he frame off would just be for cosmetics and to make it a show truck. The Blazer will come with two hardtops, ne is a double wall fiberglass normal top and the second is a fiberglass top that the previous owner cut right behind the front seats. It gives it a pickup or half cab look. He intended on putting snaps on the half top and connecting a bikini top to make it like a half soft top and half hard top so one guy could remove it themselves. He never got around to putting the snaps on the half top, or have I, ut I think that it would make for a pretty cool second top for whoever finishes it. This is one of the best driver K5's I've seen. I would hop in and drive anywhere.

The Blazer has the original 307 engine and 350 3 speed automatic transmission in it. ALL NUMBERS MATCHING! It is very much original with the factory chalk marks on the firewall and the Flint assembly plant sticker on the rear-view mirror. New 33" BF Goodrich T/A tires. I was told that the 68,xxx on the odometer are the original and actual miles. I also have new black carpet that goes along with it but is not installed.
The truck drives wonderfully. It starts right up and drives down the road straight. It's a real head turner, lways getting the usual nods and thumbs up.
This is the same body style as the 1969 1970 and 1971 GMC Jimmy as well.
