1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 210 Coupe

This classic Chevy is ready to return to the highways of America.
The car has not been used on a daily basis since 2002, et was started weekly and stored both inside and out through the years.
The most amazing part about this car is the extreme lack of rust and how straight the car is. Truly a survivor. I have been over the car many times and there is little or no through rust on the vehicle. The trunk as you can see from the pictures appears stock and solid with only one hole about the size of a quarter near the back of the car.
The car appears to be more than 95% complete with most chrome appointments well intact although not perfect. While the windshield and rear glass were replaced along the way, he rear drivers side glass is cracked, ee pics.
The engine was reportedly out of a late 60's Vette, 327 with double hump heads and four barrel carb. Starts and runs well....check out enclosed video.
The car is equipped with dual exhaust and a recently rebuilt transmission that shifts crisply.
The interior is nice with a new headliner and seat covers. The door panels are a little saggy and need just a little attention.
The current owner has had this car for over thirty years and is finally letting it go to work on other projects.
There are two basic kinds of buyers for this fine classic....
One is someone looking to cruise around in a '57 Chevy and not interested in having a perfect car. Yes, he paint is not the greatest, ut the car is straight and presentable. Tires would have to be replaced. The overall car needs a thorough cleaning and de-greasing, specially under the hood. But it starts, uns and drives well enough to get someone started in enjoying the car.
The SECOND kind of buyer is someone interested in restoring a very solid relatively rust free car for a total restoration. This car would be great in that category.
Note: There are four rims that match included in the sale. The left front was put on just for the pics as the other tire had gone flat and is in the trunk.
