A FACTORY NEW 454 BIG BLOCK WITH CASTING NUMBER 14015445 WAS BUILT WITH FACTORY 427 L88 ROTATING ASSEMBLY (FORGED DOMED PISTONS AND FORGED CRANKSHAFT), new 1971 LS6 RECTANGULAR PORT OPEN CHAMBER 118cc HEADS WITH CASTING NUMBERS 3994026 WITH CRANE ROLLER ROCKERS, ACTORY COPO 427 WINTERS ALUMINUM INTAKE WITH CASTING NUMBER 3933163, OLLEY 4150hp 950cfm CARBURETOR, SD 6 AL ELECTRONIC IGNITION.  AT THIS TIME PERIOD IN THE EARLY 80's, THE BEST OF EVERYTHING WAS USED.    THE DRIVELINE WAS UPGRADED WITH A BULLIT PROOF BELL HOUSING, EAVY DUTY CLUTCH, ORG WARNER SUPER T-10  4 SPEED MAUAL TRANSMISSION WITH CASTING NUMBER  13 04 065903, URST SHIFTER, TOCK 12 BOLT POSITRACTION REAR END WAS FITTED WITH 4.88 AXLE RATIO, RIVE SHAFT SAFETY LOOP, UBFRAME CONNECTORS, RACTION BARS, IR SHOCKS.      WHEN THE RESTORATION WAS COMPLETED THE CAR WAS STREET DRIVEN WITH OPEN HEADERS AND CARB STICKING THRU THE HOOD WHICH WAS NOT COMPLIANT WITH PA STATE INSPECTION  ALONG WITH STREET RACING RESULTING IN MANY VIOLATIONS FROM LOCAL POLICE. THE CAMARO ENDED UP BEING IN STORAGE FOR OVER 30 YEARS UNTIL SUMMER 2014 ONLY TO BE USED AS A FINANCIAL TOOL TO HANDLE A EXTREME PERSONAL CRISIS.  WHEN THE CAR WAS TAKEN OUT OF ITS RESTING TOMB THE MOTOR WAS PULLED AND PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT BY A LOCAL DRAG RACER WHO HAS RACED BIG BLOCK CHEVYS SINCE THE LATE 1960'S. THE BLOCK WAS BORED AND DECKED WITH A NEW STROKER ROTATING ASSEMBLY MAKING 489 CUBIC INCHES AT 11:1 COMPRESSION RATIO. SCAT 6.385 I BEAM RODS WITH MAHLE FORGED 18cc DOME VOLUME PISTONS.
