Most collectors know that the 1969 Corvette L89 427 cubic inch, 35 horse power engine was the "big brute"on the block. The aluminum heads came with bigger valves and GM was not interested in showing the higher horse power that all this produced but also very importantly the aluminum heads saved about 75 pounds of weight on the front end. If you have ever driven a big block Corvette you know that it feels heavy on the front end and a 75 pound savings on the front wheel definitely changes the handling characteristics. The car in this ad is the real deal as told by the ORIGINAL OWNER who purchased this car brand new and still owns it. This car comes fully documented with a Protecto Plate and Build Sheet that shows the history from the factory. If you research this car you will find that there were very few real factory L89 produced.
