Description of 1959 Chevrolet El Camino

1959 Chevrolet El Camino Project car
Body Off Restoration started Mechanically Completed
Great start with nearly every mechanical things already done. Complete car with a clear title and the original VIN tag still in place.I am listing this vehicle for a friend and customer of ours so I will be glad to share you his number for any questions you may have regarding the vehicle that I cannot answer. He knows this car in and out and has kept most all receipts totaling nearly $40,000 invested already. This gentleman does take his cars seriously and does not short change anything. He builds them to keep but in this situation now he has sold his home and is in the process of a move and does not want to take the car and all the parts with him. The car is complete and has the doors, ood, enders, nner ones as well, nd tailgate. These parts are removed and all with the car. The body of the car has been media blasted and down to metal with a primer on the car. The floor pans have been refinished and there is no major places in the body to refinish. With some knowledge and effort this would be a great project to finish as the hard mechanical things have been done.
Key things already done to the car:Body and chassis media blasted and primed, uarter panels replaced, ew floor pans, nd bed floor.POR15 used on Frame and underbody and finished nicely

The trim is still in very good shape but has not been polished and buffed out. The car does not have a radiator or any a/c components. And I believe the side glass is not with the car but all other glass which is new. All original gauges included and other original parts that were taken off that is included with the sale of this car. The work done can be all verified as receipts to back it up. The work done so far on this car has been within the last three years and not 20 years ago. It would be an excellent candidate to finish as a resto-mod or pro-touring type of restoration.
Questions regarding the vehicle and further details can call (417)-773-0318 and if I cannot answer them I will forward you to the owner. I am sure I have left out many things and the owner will be glad to answer them for you. He does not have to sell and is not going to give the car away, owever the reserve has been set low to sell the car. His loss is your gain. This could be a potential $40,000 to $50,000 car when finished depending on how you chose to build it.
The car is located in the Springfield Missouri area and can be viewed at most anytime. I encourage anyone interested in this car to come and look at and see what has been done and what is all with the car. You will be pleased to find what has already been accomplished on this car.
1959's are rare and seldom seen in this type of stage.
