Description of 1947 Chevrolet Other

We just lowered the price $2000. !!!!1947 Chevy coupe Unfinished Project. Clear Ohio title! No Stories. No games just the Legit clear title. What's that worth today?A lot of work was done on this car before the owner passed in the middle of its restoration. His widow left the car in the garage unfinished for several years before finally selling it. As it sits it has a Camaro front sub frame that looks to have been rebuilt. ( springs . rake hoses. lines. rotors ect. ( still need calipers and pads) and shocks). Power steering. Its tied into the original frame and the rear axle looks to be a later Ford unit narrowed to fit the 18. 5 x33 Mickey Thompson tires under it. Its hung on a ladder bar/coil spring set up. I do not know the gear ratio or if its a Posi or not. The 165-80x15" front tires and 4" Weld wheels are New. The rears are older in age but never driven. The top has been chopped a couple of inches and the original curved rear glass is ready to be installed. The body. frame engine and trans. were all painted in what looks to be Tropical Turquoise but now the paint is cracking from age. Plus I'm not a fan of monochromatic paint schemes. ( The 80's are over!)The front fenders and hood will require work. The rear fenders were welded and molded into the body and the license plate is recessed. The glass will need to be sourced from a glass shop. There are some old pieces to help with patterns. There is a smooth fiberglass dash ready to be drilled for your gauges. A tilt steering column is in the car but not hooked up. No seats with car and I don't see the garnish moldings. Nice work on the wheel tubs but they'll need to be painted. The engine is a 1970 300 H. P. 396/402 Chevy Big Block from a Chevelle. condition is unknown all though it was painted and detailed and looked as if he was ready to add the chrome and go fire it up. There's a turbo 400 behind it and again its painted and detailed but condition unknown. Plan on tearing them down for inspection and possibly rebuilding. The drive shaft is in the car and there are headers on it as well. Yes there's a lot to do but what a good start! to a Big Block. Fat tire 47 Coupe sittin' real Low and lookin' real Bad Ass. !
