Click Above arrow for video of this 1941 survivor Chevy truck riding and driving! (if it doesnt work, ry playing on non mobile device like home PC)

This truck was owned by a farmer in northwest wisconsin since 1956. He drove it daily around the dirt roads until 2012 at which time he lost his drivers license due to age and was parked in his barn until I bought it in march of 2015. It was really fun and gratifying to see the farmer with his wife and daughters and grandkids all standing there watching me load it on the trailer saying goodbye to it. The truck comes with a clean registered title ready for you to put in your name. I asked the farmer what he thought the truck would need to get it road worthy again and he told me that he put a rebuilt 235 6 cyl in about 15 years ago. He said it ran great and purred like a kitten when he stored it. When I got it home I had my mechanic do a complete tune up including carb rebuil, oints, lugs, ondensor etc and installed a new master cylinder and brake lines on the front, nd wired it so the truck would be a 12 volt. (bypassed the original wire harness that is still there for lights and guages etc but should be replaced as its the original, $200 jim carter truck) We put a new exhaust on it. The windshield Still cranks in and out and the door windows go up and down but need some lubing. The doors open and shut like they should. The floor looks solid as pictured. The seat springs are there but should be reupholstered(I have a seat cover on it now) The wood was rotted in the box so I replaced it with a sheet of plywood. The gas tank is there but should be cleaned before using. I am running the truck off a aux tank in the cab. The tires are okay but not brand new. It has a four speed non cyncro transmission that shifts all four gears and reverse. The speedo, il pressure guage and amp guage work.I drove this car believe it or not up to 65mph and it drove without wondering and was tight. When the engine was running you cant even hear it run and it runs with no knocks, isses or smoke. The body of this truck had some light bondo on the fenders. I had my body guy take it all off and straighten the fenders (all steel) makle sure to check out the pics before we primered the small spots. As you can see this is a true survivor oirignal paint that we left alone so you have the option of painting it or clearcoating it and leaving the petina and knowing exactly what you got. This truck starts up on the first try everytime and this will make someone a great daily driver after they address the minor issues I have mentioned. It is a survivor and the petina is absolutly to die for! As everyone hs their own idea of what a survivor 74 year old truck should be, woud recommend that you come and inspect the truck by appointment or hire ebay to do a independant inspection for you before placing a bid. The lisence plates and toppers and dash magnets do not go with the truck as they are part of my personal collection. I require a 500 dollar non refundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end, f I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the truck, will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. I can help recommend shippers I have used int he past who have been very reasonable. If you have any questions at all, lease call 563 568 5111 or 563 568 1182. thaks and have fun bidding on this 1941 survivor chevy truck 1/2 ton!
