Description of 1971 Chevrolet C-10 C-10

This is an older restored 1971 Chevrolet C-10 shortbox. It is in excellent condition and has remained with almost all original equipment. Everything works including the cigarette lighter. It has a new water temp and oil pressure gauge, long with a Sun Super Tachometer. The engine is a 383 stroker roller motor with an aluminum Edelbrock intake and 600cfm carburetor. The mileage is original as listed at 62,413. I decided to put a brand new transmission in this vehiclewith a 700/R/4 with a Stage 3 valve body, 000 rpm stall converterand a shift kit. The shift kit and new shifter is from B & M called a Quick Silver and is completely mechanical for better reliability. The rear gear is a 4.10 positrack and a 12 bolt rear end. Tires are all in excellent shape with a lot of tread on them made by Cooper. The rims are Chevy with spinners for that classic look. The exhaust system is the stock double dump into 3" pipe going straight out the rear of the truck with Flowmaster mufflers, nd it has a low throaty sound. The cylinder heads are the .202's and iron, ot aluminum. The interior has been painted with Teal and the carpeting in brand new. The rear window is a slider and tinted. The bed has an expensive tonneau cover made by Linnux that snaps down perfectly, owever the interior of the bed does not have new paint or bedliner. There is NO RUST on this vehicle and it has been babied its entire life. Garaged unless the weather was perfect. The grill and headlight bezels are brand new and I have the actual original. I replaced it a few weeks ago due to a bird denting the aluminum and some scratches over the decades. I have the paint codes, ome receipts for the work and the transmission does have a warranty for 6 more months from Mad Dawg Transmissions in Georgia, very reputable company who are tranny specialists. This vehicle is completely ready to drive/show/gawk as it is a head turner for sure. The paint I used was GM Bright Teal Solid PPG Delstar Acrylic Enamel with 3 basecoats and 5 clear coats. This is a must see to appreciate kinda truck as pictures do not do it justice. I even have 1971 1/2 license plates that I run legally in Michigan. I am selling it because I have to downsize, imple as that, o other reason and have starting the auction at a very fair price considering what the market is on these trucks for the last few years. You could consider it an investment if you watch the trend on this specifically desired year and version of the Chevrolet Pickup. Any question feel free to ask and if you live close you are welcomed to take a test ride in it. I live in Clare county Michigan. Please, o test pilots, ids, ERIOUS FOLKS ONLY PLEASE. I hate seeing this baby go as she rides and drives like a dream.......Thank you and best of luck to you..........I have REMOVED THE RESERVE and added a BUY IT NOW feature........again, ood luck........this vehicle is worth more than I am asking...........I would drive this truck to CA without hesitation or worry about reliability.
