Description of 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Selling a classic 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. Equipped with an 8-cylinder engine, hese cars run forever. This one is still running strong and in beautiful condition. President Eisenhower was in office when this car rolled out of the assembly line, o please keep it in perspective. However this car is a prime example of a classic American automobile.

Purchased this car from the estate of a car collector. He was an award winning racecar driver and racing instructor at a local racing school in New England. He owned the car for the past 20 years and took amazing care of it. The car was registered and on the road for those years, ut he did not put many miles on it. It was always properly stored inside and well maintained. When we went to pick up the car, ust needed to spray a little starter fluid, nd it fired right up. (Was told that fuel stabilizer was always put in the gas tank during storage). Gas was good and we hopped in and drove the car 30 miles with no problems. Handled great during highway speeds. Got a lot of attention cruising on the highway and through the city. It is certainly a "head-turner."We have also purchased two Alfa Romeos and a 1972's Yamaha enduro motorcycle from this estate and all of them were in amazing condition. The previous owner clearly cared for his automobiles immensely. He collected and raced many Alfa Romeos. This car seemed to be his lovely Sunday cruiser.

Interior is in very good condition and well cared for. Seat upholstery, eat cushions, oor panels, eiling fabric, nterior carpeting and trim, ll appear to be redone to factory specs. Very clean looking. Pictures speak for themselves. All electrics work, ights, ignals, after market) radio, peedometer, achometer. All the lenses look good. Three on the three transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes work good. Doesn't appear to leak, urn or smoke oil. Engine sounds solid and strong; seems to slightly idle low, ut been driving it in the neighborhood with no problem.

Added glass pack and chrome exhaust tips. Added air horn. Added hot rod style chrome headlight covers. New paint job. Aftermarket radio and speakers installed. Comes with original manual and additional repair books. Comes with original jack lift. Also included are the original chrome hubcaps and spare wheel w/ tire. Chrome wheels currently on the car are from a mid 70's Chevelle — beautifully styled. Included are the rear wheel skirts, owever, don't think they will fit on with the current wheels installed. I will put them in the trunk to be shipped with the car.

No major or minor rust spots on body or frame, xcept for some painting bubbling (shown in pics), nd rust spots in the trunk (shown in pics). Trunk rust is an easy repair. Frame and body clean and straight. Few minor small scratches, hown in pictures.

Please be aware that this car is almost 60 years old, t is not showroom quality, ut is certainly beautiful and in great shape. You can hop right in it and start driving. Very straight body, eautiful lines. There appears to be no major rust on the car (besides the trunk spots previously noted and shown in pictures), nd overall seems very intact.
