Description of 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

Regrettably I am putting my awesome Chevelle up for sale. I need money to build a garage. I have a 1970 Chevelle that looks to be a true SS but I do not have a build sheet so use your own judgment. It does appear to have everything that a true ss car has. It is a big block car with a 454, rom the info of previous owner the engine is built, t sounds like it has a small cam, t has a holley dual line carb and headers and is very very fast. The engine doesn't have any major leaks(no spots on my concrete after parking for 2 weeks) It doesn't smoke knock rattle and has good oil pressure and starts right up every time. I bought the car pretty much like it is, t did have a AT when I got the car and I had the newly rebuilt m20 Muncie installed with a new clutch set up. The trans shifts great and doest jump out of gearor grind at all.The car still has the stub on the column for the shifter as well as the dash has the shift indicator still hooked up. I also installed the bucket seats. The rear is a 12 bolt with a 373 gear and factory posi unit, took cover off to inspect and put in fresh grease, s well as the boxed control arms and heavy duty f41 sway bar. The rear doesn't roar while driving and leaves double black marks as long as you desire. As far as I can tell the car still has all the original sheet metal including the floors and trunk with the exception of the passenger quarter has the lower patch as you can see from inside the trunk. There are no holes that I have seen in the floor pans, ee pics. I am not sure how long the car has been painted but it is base coat black with white stripes. the car was originally code 25 astro blue with blue interior. The paint is pretty flat and straight no big bondo knots or rust holes, oor jambs as well trunk and inside fenders are all painted nice as well. I am very picky on paint and I can pick apart any paint job, o I would call the paint a 8 as a very nice driver that should win any local car show, ut there are a few scratches and a small crack in paint on hood, ee pics. Most all the lights work, ot all the dash light work but I havea new printed circuit that I will try to install before the end of the auction that should fix the dash lights, ipers and heater both work as well as interior light. The headliner looks like new no holes and all the original seat belts are still present. The seat covers are new with new seat foam on front seats that are very nice as well as new carpet and new dash pad. The dash is a original 70 ss dash that appears to have come from factory in this car, ts not a new repo or Monte Carlo like a lot of the cars for sale have. All the rubbers and window fuzzies are new as well as the door handles and bumpers appear to be new. It has power steering and I installed new 2" drop spindles with new brakes up front and rear brakes are fairly new and a new master cylinder. I also installed 2" drop springs in the rear and it has air shocks if you want to raise it up.It has headers with flowmasters and very nice stainless tips that sound great running down the road. The keys do fit the door locks and they work. There is no radio but the holes have not been modified and you can install one if you like. It has all original glass that is nice with some small scratches but nothing major and all windows roll up and down as they should. It has the original gas tank so maybe there will be a build sheet thereand the gas gauge does work. This chevelle runs and drives great and I don't want to sell it but I need a new garage. If you are a builder and close to GA I will do some partial trading on a garage. I am looking for a 30x42 with at least 10' ceiling. I have a clear GA title in my name and tag is current. I don't want to sell but really need the garage. I am sorry for the long description but I have bought cars online before and got lots of surprises when I got it home. I am trying to be as honest as possible and strongly encourage you to come inspect the car before you buy it. The car is being sold as is with no warranty and it is not perfect, t turns heads everywhere I drive it and lots of thumbs up. I think this car is worth $30 but my reserve is less. If you are a serious buyer and know what you want you can call me and buy the car now. I do have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I require a nonrefundable deposit of $500 within 24 hrs of the end of the auction by paypal and the balance to be paid in cash or wire transfer only no other options period. The title will not be released until funds clear back if wiring money. I will be happy to help out with shipping in or out of country and welcome any question. I am not a dealer nor a expert so bid accordingly. Thanks and happy building
