Description of 1965 Chevrolet Impala

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1965 Impala Convertible Unrestored 2 Owner Survivor car. Original Owner drove this car from 1965 until his passing at age 90 and then he willed it to a family member. Car was Ordered New at DAVIS CHILD MOTOR COMPANY in HUTCHINSON KANSAS and it has never left thatarea its entire life until 2008. It then went into dry storage in North Carolina & now its Located on Long Island N.Y.
This Car was Garage kept since New so the Body is Very Clean Crisp & Straight, ll the Body Panels are the Factory Uncut Originals,The Floor Pans are factory Original & Perfect,The Trunk Pan is also original,The frame is clean, here are No Parking lot Dings down either side,Just maybe some Very Minor Granny Garage scuffs. Car was painted One time in the 80s & it still Shines & Looks great but the Paint has Some Blemishes From age
Car has its Original Matching 327 with Powerglide Trans, ower Steering, ower Brakes & Very Rare Factory Air Conditioning. Engine was Rebuilt around 20 years ago,Trans was Rebuilt 5 years ago. Last year I installed a Factory Stock - Cam - Lifters - Timing Chain & Freshened up the Heads for Unleaded gas. Car Runs & Drives Great! Car also has New Exhaust,Fuel Pump,Gas tank front Brakes & Heater Core
CONVERTIBLE TOP was Replaced 5 years ago along with New Pump,Pistons,Hoses & Switch.Top Still Looks New but has a small blemish.
