Description of 1969 Chevrolet Corvette

This is a NO RESERVE auction!!! Read on...

The 1969 Corvette is widely recognized as the most desirable of all the chrome-bumper Sharks. This was a year of firsts & lasts. The first being the introduction of the 350ci V8 in a Corvette which was the most popular choice in power plants for '69. This was a workhorse engine that gave plenty of power in its 300hp version, ut it was user friendly, asy to live with on a daily basis (runs on regular pump-gas) and you could drive it year round without issue. I guess you could always drop a high-compression 427 in it, ow that it's got the high-rise hood, nd side-pipes, ut this motor has been warmed over, nd makes plenty of power as it is! We checked, nd it is most definitely the original number's matching engine block, hich is important in the Muscle-Car world.

If you could go back in time to your local Chevy dealer and buy a new '69 Vette, lot of buyer's would order one just like this; Monza Red, lack interior, -wheel power disc-brakes, o power-steering (robs horsepower), ide-pipes, nd T-tops. This car's interior is original, nd is in great condition. The paint is very nice. The car starts up instantly, dles well and has great acceleration!

Being an original 46 year old automobile, t will need to have a few issues addressed. The lights all come on and work fine, ut the vacuum operated headlight doors aren't currently opening (you can manually open & close them however). Speedometer & tachometer work, ut some of the other gauges aren't working (all of their illumination works though). There's no radio currently mounted in the dash. Heater fan, orn & some of the other accessories aren't functioning either (could just be a fuses or a relay)... it's usually something simple with these older cars, ut we just haven't looked into every little thing. The car pulls slightly to one side when driving down the road, o possibly could use an alignment, ut there's absolutely no evidence of it ever having been in an accident.

The frame is solid and straight, nd the body is nice & straight as well. We were told by the previous owners that the transmission only has about 200 miles on it since being rebuilt (but it was done about 12 years ago, o we went ahead and installed a new trans. filter, an-gasket & fluid). They said the engine was also rebuilt not long before that, o it's probably still not even totally broken-in yet, ut we did a fresh oil-change on it with new filter anyway. There are some other new parts on it as well, ncluding new starter, istributor-cap & rotor, park-plug wires, park-plugs, ftermarket 4-barrel double-pumper carburetor, rake-booster & master-cylinder, oor handles, achometer cable, nterior-carpet, as-tank & sending-unit.

The car has factory Corvette Rally-wheels with brand new chrome-plated stainless-steel correct trim-rings (rears are wider than fronts). The brakes work very well, nd were completely flushed out with fresh, ew fluid. Everything mentioned above was completed as of October 2015.
