Description of 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle

Here is a great running 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. I have known of this car for the past ten years or so. The guy I got it from said the transmission went out and he just parked it and left it sitting for 5 or so years. I got it a couple of months ago and got it back to running and put in a good transmission (350 turbo) in it with a new 2200-2600 Boss Hog torque converter. This runs very well. I was told that the motor is a 502 when we got it. The numbers on the block say it is a 396 block so I am not sure what size it is. (open headers no exhaust) All I can say is it is very healthy.
The body is in good shape. It has had the driver rear quarter replaced some time in its life. The floors are in good shape. And the trunk pan has just small places in it (no problems there). the only real issue is around the trunk lid area (pics included).
This is a project car so please don't expect it to be perfect. I have supplied several pictures so you can see what you are bidding on.
