Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

So this is what a $120,000 build looks like. Somebody spent stupid money and I'm selling at NO RESERVE soyou don't have to.For me thisbuild created the perfect blend of classic automotive history with a enough modern goodies to get your pulse racing. I love this car and am only selling it because my home with it's multiple heated garage spacessold. This car deservesto be driven and not stored away for a few years while I build a new home.

I havetons of pictures I can send and a short video link below so you can see her rolling and hear the music from the exhaust.

Glenn Vaughn Restoration in Post Falls Idaho did the work back in 2003 and they did a magnificent job. They have a great reputation and the fact that they are still in business is a testament to the quality of their work. I bought it after looking long and hard for this exact car about 18 months ago thinking I would keep it forever. It does not disappoint. I have a box of receipts reportedly adding up to$120k. I stopped counting when I passed $100k. Anyone who has attempted this kind of work knows the amount of time and money that must be expended to get it right.

Theystarted with a rolling 210 postsedan which provides more structural rigidity than the hardtops. Then 18 months were devoted to reworking everything: Installeda 2002 Corvette LS1 5.7L 350 cubic inch fuel injectedaluminum V8 engine with matching automatic transmission running to a Ford 9' posi traction rear end, taggered 17" American racingmagwheels, ront clip with disc brakes, &M shifter, ine lock, illet adjustable wheel and billet everywhere, ower steering, ower brakes, ew wiring, nterior, eclining bucket seats, our retractable seat and shoulder belts, intage A/C, ir ride suspension, lassic looking radio and four speakers, new gauges, ody stripped and painted black, hrome replaced or replated, eaders, uned exhaust which rumbles at low revs, creams at high revs and burbles nicely on down shifts. Not overbearing at speed and no droning.

After I bought it I took it to my favorite customizing shop and had the windows tinted, IPOD compatible vintage lookingkiller stereo installed with amp and sub in trunk along with a carpeted panel to hide it all. Spare tire was removed and the well covered with a carpetedpanel for stashing cleaning supplies. Then I had newhigh qualityradials put on. The original set was in fine shape I just didn't trust them as they were well out of date. I hated the digital gauges that were always scrolling up and down with numbers and had them replaced with classic analog gauges. If you like theDakota digital gaugesI still have them and will include them with the sale.Digital odometer when I bought it was 5,000 miles. Over the pasttwo seasons I have put on another trouble free 7,000.

This car tracks beautifully down the road and does everything you want and nothing you don't. Everything works as it should right down to the cig lighter, lockand wipers. No smoke, eaks or bad habits whatsoever. Have spent many pleasurable days cruising the country wherever the whim would lead. Invariably someone would come up to gawk at the car, ake pictures or just talk about classic cars or restomods. Car shows are a pleasure to show up at and I have made lots of acquaintances there. The car always get lots of attention. And I can't tell you how many drive alongside on the highway taking pictures. Lots of thumbs up. So if you don't like attention this is not the car for you!

No car is perfect and there are some minor flaws that you have to look to find: a small stone chip or two, small scratch on windshield, inor chrome imperfections. However, anels are straight, o rust, aint is deep and the overall impression is WOW! If it was perfect it wouldn't get driven and this car was meant to be enjoyed on the road and at shows, ot in a museum. Tri fiveChevys are very popular and this oneseems to have the lines, olor, tance, ound andperformance that make rubber necking irrisistable.

NH title is clear, lean and in hand. Please be sure to have your money lined up before you bid.

Since this is a true NO RESERVE auction I won't be accepting bids from bidders with less than 10 positive feedbacks. This is too significant an opportunity for newbies. I'm sure you will understand.

Inspections are welcomed and encouraged before the bidding ends. And as always, our satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If, fter being thehigh bidder andseeing it in NH you decide for whatever reason this is not the car for you I refund your deposit with no hard feelings.

Best wishes for a successful purchase. Someone is going to be very happy with this one.
