Description of 1968 Chevrolet Camaro |
Car does NOT have a title, t will be sold on a Kansasbill of sale (legal here in Kansas YOUR state may vary). It was originally Ash Gold, now primer/spray paint)and a V8 (probably 327) but currently a 1972 Nova 250 6 cyl. backed by a Powerglide and a 8.5 10 bolt (instead of the original weaker 8.2). The engine ran good when removed from the Nova, nd I drove it and the powerglide rear endhome. but the only point of having it in there is to get it titled, t has not operated since they landed in the Camaro about 3 years ago. I haven't had time or interest in getting it actuallytitled in the 5 years I've had it, t rolls and the brakes worked a year or so ago.(they are drums and weak but they did work). It will come with a set of 15" rally wheels (they probably won't be installed as the tires are poor and leak air) no caps or rings included. The wheels actually installed will be of the type that hold air...hopefully for a short time anyway, ut the rallys picturedwill come with either way.The core support is a Nova unit as well, ut I think I have a Camaro ome around here, DO NOT have any hood hinges or latch, he hood is just sitting on the car. I have an ignition and trunk key but no door keys. There is no steering wheel pictured, ut it will have one, just borrowed and forgot about it when I took pics. Rust? Trunk floor, loor pans mostly behind the front seats but it'll need work throughout. I think there is a leak around the rear window somewhere that's lead to the trunk rust. I know there is bondo in the rear quarters, ow much, r what it is covering Ihaven't a cluebut there is some. The fenders are '67 units GM and fairly rough. doors aren't perfect but are original to the car (as far as I can tell, hey work well and the windows move freely. The windshield is cracked, ut all other glass is fine. I think it'd be a good builder, UT it's 3rd in line, have a first gen ('69) already and now I've decided I want a 70-73 instead of a '68, o thepossibility of it getting built in the next decade is low...really low...I have space for it, ut I wouldn't mind a bit more work space or keeping a daily driver inside...so it's up for sale! Questions? Feel free to ask...except "What is your Buy it Now? or what will you take?"It's an auction...if it has a BIN it has one if it doesn't I don't. If you want to see it before you bid? Absolutely, don't mind that, specially what I deem important may not be what you need to know.... |
