Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Numbers matching 69 Camaro SS 350 (X55) with 4 speed manual and 3:31 Positraction rear end. Protect-O-Plate (goes with sale) indicates originally sold in January 1969. This is an excellent quality driver showing some wear from the past 13 years when a cosmetic makeover was undertaken. The Flowmaster exhaust, oupled with the aggressive cam provides that lumpy muscle car idle and intoxicating rumble of a bygone era. Purchased in 2009, t was a bit rough around the edges as you can see from the work I had done to the car. As indicated below, dditional documentation I received when I purchased the car goes with the sale. Additionally, have the Protec-O-Plate which goes with the sale as well as an original owners manual, hop manuals and build drawings,

Major equipment on the car is in good working order including all exterior lights, urn signals, mergency flashers, rake lights, eadlights (high and low beam), ide marker lights, ow and high speed wipers, indshield washer, eater/defroster, orn, oor locks and latches. Believe all glass is original to the car but cannot prove it. Major features include:

  • Radio delete car
  • Front and rear spoiler
  • Console with gages
  • Tachometer
  • Clock
  • Standard interior
  • Rare folding rear seat
  • Edlebrock intake manifold
  • Holley 650 cfm double pumper
  • Solid state distributor
  • steel (non-functional) cowl induction hood

Engine rebuilt in 2000, ocumentation available. Head stamp indicates the engine was built in December 1968 and is the 300 hp 350. VIN indicates a January 69 build (Norwood, H).

What doesn't work or is wrong? To my knowledge:

  • Paint shows some wear, cratches, tone chips due to normal wear and tear
  • Small dent driver's side, ear corner behind bumper
  • Clock works intermittently
  • Dash panel lights for heater controls don't work
  • Driver's side footwell vent control not working - stuck open.
  • Window regulators on rear windows are worn, ut still work.
  • No service jack
