Description of 1965 Chevrolet Impala impala

Up for auction is my 1965 Impala Convertible. 2 door. automatic. 8cyl automatic. headers. dual exhaust. but mufflers need replacing. Car is mostly all complete. It needs finishing. I purchased this car as a shell & installed a running motor from a 1964 impala wagon that i had but never got around to finishing it. The motor. tranny. driveshaft & starter are all in & hooked up but the distributor wires. water hoses. lines & radiator still need to be hooked up to start it. The convertible needs the drivers side front floor. the passenger side front 1/4 panel & the trunk area floor & some minor bodywork & paint. The seats are dry & will need recovering. The car seems like it was originally yellow & was repainted orange & was orange when i got it. I bought the drivers side front floor & the passenger side front quarter panel brand new but they need to be welded in. I purchased this car with intensions of fixing it up but no longer have the time to work on it nor do I still have my friend to do the welding on it for me since he was relocated with his job. It is a great winter project to work on to get it ready for the summer time if you know how to weld or know someone that can weld for you. It has new motor mounts. new arm rest pads. hood emblem inserts. fuel pump & carbureator lines. It comes with an extra rear trunk lid. The convertible top bows. lines & motor are all there. The convertible top fabric is all gone & will have to be replaced. The rear convertible glass is still there. I have a clean nys registration in my name. In nys pre 1975 vehicles use registrations instead of titles. 65 impalas are getting hard to find & convertibles are getting even harder to find. You are more that welcome to come by & bring your bodyman or welder to look over the car. I will not ship the car but will assist with loading on this end.
