Description of 1946 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1946 Chevrolet Panel Truck
These panels are pretty cool when they are all done - restored or as a hotrod - and they're rather rare! This one is complete enough to restore, solid foundation for a hotrod or has just enough patina (still has the original Boston Heights Dairy logo with a 4-digit phone number) for a great ratrod!! I will try to convey the condition of this vehicle to the best of my ability, ut I encourage you to look at each of the pictures I've provided and feel welcome to contact me via the eBay message board with any questions you may have.
BODY/SHEET METAL/TRIM: The body of this panel truck is very complete but is missing the rear fenders and the grille - I have found both of these reproduced and for sale on eBay. The sheet metal does have some rust issues in the rear fender wells and in the passenger side door, ut is very repairable. I have also found the door skin from the belt line of the door down for sale on eBay. The floor in front of the seat was all wood and is in need of complete replacement. The "cargo area" floors were protected for decades by a sheet metal insert and are in amazing shape!! The rest of the body had typical dents and dings that would need a little TLC. There's not much trim to these old work trucks except the grille, hich is missing.
ENGINE/TRANSMISSION/DRIVE-TRAIN: The engine is rather complete - although the radiator is missing - but I know nothing about it; it does not run. The transmission is complete and the truck rolls in neutral. The rest of the drive-train is original and all there.
INTERIOR: Also, here is not much to the interior of these work trucks. It has a single seat for the delivery driver that needs to be completely reupholstered. The dash is rather complete and the gauge cluster is complete.
