Description of 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

1982 Chevy Camaro Z28 Original California Car is up for Auction. The car is stunning in pictures but even more beautiful in person. receives compliments every where it goes. So much has been done to this car and all of it done with quality workmanship. Clean and clear title. Accident and rust free car. All receipts and paperwork will come in a folder with the car of every dollar spent. I do have the rear hatch deck lid and it will come with the car. I'll start by going down the listHistory: Car was purchased form the second owner. who had it in enclosed storage for 7 years. All fluids were drained and it was stored correctly. When the car was pulled from storage the motor was properly oil primed before starting. At that time all break lines. brakes and Master cylinder was replaced as well. Transmission was flushed before adding fluids and used in operation. We did a Auto check on the Vin # and it scored a high 38. Interior: Most of everything is brand new. 1000s of dollars spent to bring the interior up to it current state. The interior colors are silver and black. New Silver (light grey) carpet in passenger section. along with new Black carpet in the rear hatch area. new black carpet trim including console. nbsp;new silver and black seat upholstery front and back seats. new dash pad. new center console pad along with new fantastic high end matching door panels. Steering wheel needs refurbished but currently has a nice wrap. The headliner is in great shape. New power window switches. New weather striping all around. New speaker sails. Brand new Sony CD Deck detachable face still has the tape on it. Spare tire is in its place behind the spare tire panel. All fuses have been replaced. gauges and switches all work. power door locks work as they should power windows work as they should. Dome lights work as they should. This car did come with a hatch locking trunk lid. which will come with the car. All gauges work as they should. Exterior: Fresh paint done to the exact original color code of the cars original color when it rolled out of the factory. This car was never in a accident. No major filler areas anywhere on the body. The body is nice and straight condition as you will see in the pictures. you find a area or two that's not perfect typical on any street car. Dark blue metallic looks amazing in the sun light. The tires have very little ware and are fairly new. mounted on original Z28 rims. with new Z28 black center caps. New body side molding which was a original option on the car. I upgraded to a nicer looking molding. Windshield wiper motor needs replaced. It rarely rains here so I never got around to replacing it. All glass is in good condition no cracks or issues. New rear hatch struts. rear hatch goes up and down functions as it should. Drive train: Transmission shifts nice and smooth as it should. was flushed and serviced. The Chevy 305 V8 5. 0 small block is powerful and strong. A compression test was done and all cylinders tested between 150-155psi. a brand new rebuilt 305 would test between 140-160. No oil leaks. very well maintained engine. A brand new Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor sits a top the stock aluminum GM manifold. Car handles great. New battery and fuel pump installed as well. The engine runs perfect. Engine has been inspected by a certified mechanic. Everything is documented. I would have no doubts about getting in this car and driving across the US. Soon as the ignition is turned it fires up and settles to a perfect idle. And has really good throttle response. Other important info: The car is currently registered as "Non-op" There is absolutely NO back fees due. The car just passed smog and is ready to register in the new owners name. The registration process will be nice and easy. Everything is ready to go for the new owner. The car is a blast to drive and I now know why the 82 Camaro was Motor Trends "Car of the Year" back in 1982.
