The entire built except the interior was done in house at m shop to show we can build 4x4 trucks to the same quality as the muscle cars and Hot Rods we build. I started with a rust free and dent free 4 door 4x4 dually. All the sheet metal is factory to this truck GM sheet metal except the passenger side innerfender ( it had a few small blisters of the beginnings of rust). I searched and found a dual gas short bed of the same quality as the cab and arrived with what is listed here. The truck was stripped to bare metal, poxy primed, hen gaped and worked to laser straight, hen painted with Dupont Chroma Premier super jet black base coat clear coat paint. The frame was shortened and a plated added inside the rail for strength then it was cleaned and painted. As mentioned earlier it was reassembled with all new chrome and rubber products. After driving the truck I decided it needed to be more freeway friendly so I added a 4L80E automatic overdrive transmission and TCI transmission control unit. It now travels like a modern truck. I also added a spray in bedliner but have never hauled more than a cooler in the bed. All door, ood, as door, ailgate, ed hardware is stainless steel button head fasteners. We built the truck about 4 years ago and have driven it less than 5000 miles. Last year, bout 500 miles ago I decided to update the wheels and tires again so it now has 20" Ultra wheels and 35-12.50-20 Federal Couragia MT tires. It has a reece hitch and brake box and has pulled a trailer about 3 times to haul another truck to the car show. It handles a trailer really well. I know someone is gonna ask the reason I am selling. I have to many toys and am needing more equipment for a growing business so I have decided to part with a few of my better builds. I am sure I am leaving something and some parts out as it has to much work done to list here. All of the work was done by me and my crew in my shop so if you have any questions about the truck or what we do feel free to give me a call and start a conversation. Please keep calls between 8am and 10pm est.
